Art 6

Your work this semester is to continue to build a portfolio. Using your written 'focus paper' (created and submitted at the beginning of the semester) you will create a series of pieces that emphasize not only all 7 of the elements of art (line, shape, form, texture, value, space, and color) - but also all of the 7 principles of art (balance, contrast, pattern, rhythm, movement, emphasis, and unity)....while at the same time sticking to and concentrating on your 'focus'. The order and medium(s) chosen are your choice. Pieces will be due every 2 weeks and also involve an oral presentation on the day the piece is due.

Due dates are as follows: 2/20, 3/6, 3/20, 4/17, 5/1, 5/15, and 5/29.
